Let it Snow! Let it Snow!!
Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
When we finally kiss goodnight,
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.
The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bying,
But as long as you love me so,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
SO, it's truly officially SNOWING!!
It began to flur this past week but early in the morning the Snow finally came down!
Corny as it may sound, but I was truly excited to get bundled up and but on my boots and hit the snow!!
May I say that this is the first time in 23 years that I restep back onto real snow....not the Texas 'snow' that happens to just be iced over roads! It was very interesting, hearing the crunching sounds as I stepped my way to the bus stop. On occasion I had to balance my vertigo as some of the areas had inches of snow! It was as if I was walking for the first time and I expectedly bobbled my way up the sidewalk! As I reached the corner to the Bus Stop, the snow began to fall as if it was raining...
I do admit that with each step I made sure that I left an imprint behind but made sure that each one was properly 'stamped!' Truly did enjoy this Saturday Morning.
I made it to Dominicks, my new favorite grocery store, especially since there are sample carts at every corner, and basically ate lunch while shopping! loved it! Also went to the bank and deposited some coins into my hEkDUCATION funds! Been tutoring in the afternoons to get some side coins and truly need to run this as a real business because I have the best clients ever and we truly get along and I simply teach and tutor and get paid well for it! Other than that just been busy...work a full day from 7:30-6:00 then usually tutor till 10 or so! but the Holidays are just around the corner, so why not!!??
Still need to go and buy a Holiday Tree. Many corner lots sell amazing Fir Pine trees but Im just hesitant on the fact that I really dont want to clean up all the needles the tree will shed! though I am making ornaments, all HeKROCHET pieces, new for the season! my first of Hekliday Collections! lol but I have crocheted amazing hats and scarfs and currently working on my first Throw Blanket for a special birthday friend! She'll soon be over the hill! so why not a crochet-throw..right?
well going to clean up the apartment and bake some goodies for a brunch invite tomorrow!
Tis' The Season,
Hek
