Na Na....what's my name?

Hello, my name is Hector Hernandez.....and I'm from Texas!! 

ha, seems that has been my introduction all month since I arrived. The usual response to my introduction is...."oohhh, you chose the wrong time to move...how you liking the cold?"

well...NO SHIT!! Its cold but how dare you say it's the wrong time to move! Little do they know is that I AM FROM CHICAGO!! Though I do claim my TEXAN status because I affirm that I was raised in Texas, Del Rio...to be exact!  

I was a mere 7 when I left this cold, somber, city! I do recall the cold and the snow and the ever so changing seasons...COLORS!!  But that was years ago, SO NOW, I am really excited to have been exploring this birth city of mine.  I like to just up and go and see what I can see while I get lost! YES!!! I like to just get in the train and hop off, as if Im lost and learn my way around.  Doing this really has allowed me to find my way around the city.  In some instances Ive had a deja vu and clearly recall my last time there. kinda haunting but I love the flash memories.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving....my first as an adult in Chicago.  I will be traveling to the 'burbs to spend  it with my aunt and cousins. Should be a lovely time.  

Soon Ill transpose all my journal entries into my 'blogmoires'

Welcome to the BLOGMOIRES of Heknuno

Well, well, well....

I know my last post and my signature post have song titles but Ill get back into the theme of things as soon as I establish my new reasonings for my new blogs!  

Im dubbing them BLOGMOIRES, Blog + Memoires...lol  

So welcome to my Blogmoires of my new journey and life in the Windy City of Chicago...the city where I was birthed in 1981 and left in 1988 to live in good ole TEXAS and now am back to begin what I hope to be a great new life and happy endings! 

I recall that the reason I made up this blogspot many years ago was because I had just moved into a new apartment in Austin and was starting to get into my Teaching career...well It's only fitting that I begin this site full on again because I am in a new city, left many memories behind, and am starting a new teaching career in chicago!

My mind is all over the place right now. I want to scream so loud that everyone can hear me, but I want to scream LOOOOOOOOOOOOK AT ME!! IM HERE!! WHAT!? WHAT!? YOU DONT SCARE ME!? NO ONE SCARES ME??!!  lol well some things do scare me but I feel like I need some attention.  lol  But yes, after living in the wonderful city of AUSTIN, TEXAS for almost 12 years I have flown from my established nest and have landed in this truly windy city.  Its November and OMG is it cold and very much windy!  

long gone are my flip flops, summer shorts, teeshirts, etc....and HELLO boots, scarfs, knitted tops, sweaters, socks, and jackets! insane but I have a whole new wardbrobe I never knew existed. But I must say, Its fun dressing up here in Chicago. I have gone crazy-mad crocheting amazing beanies and accessories.  Part of my new self-line HEKROCHET!  place your oder now! lol

but yes! Im loving it here and of course Im sad and lonely but I have to get over what my friend Jovanna (www.bonejovi.blogspot.com) calls the 3 month adjustment period!!  She should know, she up and left Texas to move to New York and has thus found an amazing life there!  So I too should survive this 3 month hump and get back to POWER STOMPING these streets and being absolutely me.....HEKNUNO!

very brief intro now but I promise to get back into the swing of things!

but really quickly....a shoutout to all my Family! I miss them all terribly...my nieces, nephews, sister, brothers (ha), MOM and DAD...and my beloved and most adorable three kiddos of mine!! VIKTORYA ST JAMES, TOPHYR ST LAURENT, LONDON CHIQUITO ST STEVENS, I MISS MISS MISS MISS my beautiful babies very much and cannot wait till they arrive here and I build them their very own IGLOO SNOW PET HOUSE!! duh!!

I also miss my immediate best friends....Ive gone from seeing them almost on a daily basis, to non existant! just texts and phone calls!! ugh!! a shout out to all my peeps! I miss you all dearly as well and need you all to come play and party with me!  To my biatches: Eugene, Isaac, Emily, Raquel, Richie, Crissy, Jovi, Carla, and Tessa
